SpaceX 2nd Launch of 2019

SpaceX completed its 2nd launch of 2019 on 22 Feb, launch time 1.45 am local time from SLC-40 Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. Payload consists of 3 items, 1 Indonesia private satellite, 1 micro satellite for the US Air Force and a Israeli Lunar lander called Beresheet.

If successful, Israel will be become the 4th country to land a spacecraft on the moon. It’s only weighed less than 600kg including fuel and will reach the moon on its own power in 2 months time.

The block 5 first stage B1048.3 was launched for a 3rd time and landed a 3rd time on a drone ship, demonstrating SpaceX recoverable space technology.
