New small aircraft carrier

New generation aircraft carrier need to be fast and well defended. As vertical takeoff becomes more reliable in the near future, the carrier act like a mothership to refuel and rearmed, rather than a runway. The flat deck becomes less of a focal point, the carrier can be less than 300m long but still carries about 100 combat aircraft. The ship need to be better defended with more close range rapid fire gun or cannon, plus more missiles for all purpose. The carrier would definitely carry fewer crew and more automated with less space for accommodation. 

The current design of large carrier tend to focus on the runway, making it odd looking and not aerodynamic which slow down the top speed.
