Visiting UK for the First Time
Arrived in the United Kingdom for the very first time at 4.12 pm on the 1st of July 2017, Saturday. UK was the Colonial Government of Singapore from 1819 to 1959, so it has a great influence on my home country in many aspects of a country.
Although in term of physical land area, U.K. is not that huge, but travelling from the airport to Abington, you can see large expanse of open ground. This in itself give you a feeling that U K is not that small after all.
The next day, we travelled to a few villages around Abington, and see for ourselves the magnificent old buildings that dotted these places.
On the 3rd day, we went to Oxfords, again we were treated to the well preserve university buildings around the city. Now we know why the UK used to be a great power in the past.
The UK is still a great country today, but not in a military way anymore.
