I did not have much of a problem getting up at 6:10am on 25 Dec 2017 for a run after a day of excessive food and drinks. But, as I began my run at 7.07am, I found my legs were heavy and my body was protesting, wanting more rest probably. I was afraid I might gave up as my mind was telling me to quit only after covering about 1km. I did not give up and just continue with a very slow run. I reached the 1km mark in about 7min11sec. As I ran further, the nagging felling remain in the legs but I try to think distract my mind, observing the surrounding environment. Soon I got to the 5km mark in 33min16sec, not too slow. Around the 5.5km, I entered the road leading to the usual park connector I run frequently. There are many other people walking or running, so it was much easier to run as there was company. I pace picked up from here and I could feel my body settling down to a good rhythm. I was now running a low 6min pace and heaviness in the legs almost gone. Reached the 10 km mark aro...
