Marathon running is hard
Marathon is hard for the everyday runners who are slow like me. I struggled to finish at the Singapore Standard Chartered Marathon on 30 November 2019, because I did not put in enough mileage during training. The body need to learn to get used to the distance, it needs to go through the tiredness and the pain barrier as well.
Although I did not really stopped running for any stretch of more than 15 seconds, I was just really shuffling very slowly.
There is no shortcut to running, you just need to put the body through the paces.
