2022 AD

A new year 2022 started about 5hour 53minute ago in my time zone. I never thought that it would be so soon that I am already in the 2020s. Its usually in science friction stories that you see such faraway years.  My wish for the new year, human can be less aggressive towards each other and really live in peace. Human should really learn to tame devil in themselves and really transcend their evil self!  Good education can provide them valuable knowledge to help them achieve this goal.

SpaceX 26 Flights 2021

A private company flown 26 space missions in 2021 and even before the year is over. SpaceX has just done that on 24th Nov 2021 and probably another 2 more missions coming soon. This goes to show that SpaceX is way ahead of the game, even without much government funding.  So why is SpaceX so much ahead in the space launch business? Because Mr Musk has the technology to reuse his launch vehicle and no other organisation is able to do what he is doing. It would take a couple of years before any other organisation is capable of landing an orbital class rocket!

1 Jan 1835

What happened on this day, 1 January 1835? This date was a Thursday. Weird, why did I start this post?

SpaceX 24th launch Crew 3

SpaceX successfully launched its 24th mission of 2021 on 11 November, the Crew 3 mission carried 4 astronauts to the space station.

Sending a signal to your younger self

Is it possible to send a signal or message to your younger self ? Like time travel of signal to the past and causing past events to change in outcome.

24.71km Run on 30 Oct 2021

I completed a 24.71km run on 30 Oct 2021, Saturday in 2hours55min18sec. I started the run at 7:40am from Yck road towards Upper Thomson Road, then onto Sembawang Road till I hit Yishun avenue 7, then along this stretch till Yishun Avenue 8 and all the way till Yishun Dam. After Yishun dam I turned right onto Seletar west link till I come to seletar aerospace drive, then along this stretch till I reach Lambeth walk. I continued on Lambeth walk till Piccadilly. From there I reached the seletar circle then across to jalan Kayu till I reached Sengkang west. From there I continued onto Yio Chu Kang road and then another 3.7km or so till back to the start point.

SpaceX Inspiration4

SpaceX successfully launched the 23rd mission of 2021, on 15 Sep 2021, Wednesday night. It was the first all non professional and non NASA private astronauts to space. They are Jared Issacman, Hayley Arceneaux, Sian Proctor and Chris Sembroski. Jared is the CEO of Shift4 Payments, Inc, who sponsored the 3 fellow astronauts. They will orbit earth every 90 minutes at an attitude of 575km, they will conduct scientific research designed to advance human health on earth and during future long duration space flight.

SpaceX 22nd mission of 2021

SpaceX 22nd mission of 2021 took placed at 23:55, 13 Sep 2021. It was the 29th Starlink launch with a stack of 51 Starlink v1.5 upgraded satellite with laser link capability. Each weighed 260kg, for a total payload weight of 13.26 tonnes. It was the 128th Falcon launch and the mission also achieved the 91st successful landing. The first stage B1061.10 became the 2nd boaster to have completed 10 launches and landing.

22.23 km run on 28 Aug 2021 Saturday

I completed a 22.23km run on 28 Aug 2021, Saturday, in a time of 2hr16min01sec. Average pace was 6:07 per km, not a fast time but one of my better long run in a long time.  I started out from my usual location via Yio Chu Kang Road and turned right onto Upper Thomson Road, then Sembawang Road till I turned right again onto Yishun Ave 1. Ran all the way till I came across Yishun Dam bridge and then turned right again onto Seletar Road till I couldn’t go any further, hit the expressway. I had not much choice, so I turned back and ran till I reached the reservoir park at Yishun Ave 1. I rested for 5 min and had a quick drink at the water point and did a slow jog back home via Lentor Ave. The strange thing is that I had been doing quite abit of short slow run lately and yet I seemed to be able to maintain a consistent time over a longer long like in this particular long long run.

SpaceX 21st flight of 2021

SpaceX launched its 21st flight of the year on 29 Aug 2021 from Kennedy Space Centre LC-39A. The CRS23 mission is a cargo resupply mission to the International Space Station. The first stage B1061.4 landed back on SpaceX newest drone ship “A Shortfall of Gravitas” , about 8 minutes later. This is the 90th successful landing of a orbital class rocket.

COVID-19 numbers

As of 17 Aug 2021, COVID-19 cases total about 209million. Will the total number hit 300 million by 21 Dec 2021 ? Is the COVID-19 virus bad enough to reduce human population by even 1 percent worldwide? Not quite, maybe 0.1 percent.  Human need more education and be less selfish in nature, to survive as a race and not destroy earth.  Human numbers are increasing too rapidly and distributed unevenly across the planet. Resources are depleted too quickly because of capital economy.  Do you think you can give up the good life to save the planet?

The Big Bang Theory is a Theory of Convenience

The Big Bang Theory is a Theory of Convenience, for people who need an easy way out.  From a single point or dot, to everything!! Sound absurd, but people believed it. Anyway, a lot of theories out there are simply theories, you cannot prove anything. Imagined the furthest human had ever been is the moon 52 years ago, but the so called scientists or astronomers talked about discovering planets light years away.  Human are just good with their imagination but are still primitive in their technologies.

The Creator Vs Universe

The bigger the universe, the possibility of a creator becomes less significant. With the concept of multiverse and parallel universe, it get further reduced to insignificant. It would somehow becomes a joke if all there is in the entire universe or multiverse are controlled by a bunch of whoever you called it, looking from the outside of all that exist in our so called existence world. It makes you think, what is all this nonsense.....??

21.1km run on 12 June 2021

I completed a 21.1km run in 2hr13min19sec on  12 June, 2021 Saturday. I ran the last 5km on a stretch of new roads with not much traffic. The first part of the run was also done on the same stretch, about 3km, which was also easier to run. The rest of the run was done on pathment beside the road.  I tried to run faster on the last 5km, but it was not as smooth as I would like it to be. Need to ease myself back to the way I used to run in the past, need to just run and don’t think about it.

SpaceX 18th flight of 2021

SpaceX completed its 18th flight of 2021 on 6th of June. It launched a 7ton Digital radio satellite for XM Sirius.  SpaceX is on target to surpass its 2020 record of 26 launches in a year, at its current launch cadence.

SpaceX 16th mission of 2021

SpaceX successfully completed the company’s 16th mission of 2021, on 26 May 2021 3pm eastern time. It was the 28th Starlink launch overall and the 13th Starlink launch of 2011. It was the 120th Falcon rocket launch and the 100th consecutive successful Falcon 9 launch. At this rate, SpaceX will definitely set a new total launch record in 2021.

SpaceX 12th Flight of 2021

SpaceX just completed the 12th space flight of 2021 on 28 Apr 2021 Wednesday. The Falcon 9 rocket carried 60 Starlink satellites into orbit. This is the 9th Starlink mission of 2021.  As of March 2021, Starlink already has more than 10,000 users. Starlink provide broad band services to remote areas in the United States and 5 other countries.

SpaceX 10th flight of 2021

SpaceX successfully completed its 10th launch of 2021 on 7 April 2021, sending up its 24th batch of Starlink Satellites. It was the 113th overall Falcon 9 rockets launches

SpaceX SN11 test

SpaceX successfully launched SN11 on 30 Mar 2021, did the 10Km vertical flight and switched to horizontal returned flight. But, exploded on the landing attempt. 4th successful flight to 10km, getting close to a successful landing.

SN10 Launched and Landed 3 March 2021

SpaceX Starship prototype SN10 launched and landed successfully on the evening of 3 March 2021 Wednesday, from the Boca Chica, Texas.  It went on to explode 8 minutes after landing on the ground. Still, it was a great success and a step closer to getting to orbit in the full configuration. The landing was beautifully controlled this 3rd time. Explosion probably due to fuel tank or engine system not fully shut down. Waiting to see the start of testing of the gigantic first stage.

SN10 launch date

SpaceX is currently preparing to launch SN10 after 2 rounds of static engine tests!!

Countries need to get their act together

Things are happening much faster now with communication possible anywhere on Earth, but there are countries stuck in the bygone era.  There is nothing wrong if you do crave for money and the comfortable trappings that comes with it.

Record breaking Lake Biwa Marathon

28 Feb 2021 will be memorable day for Japanese marathoning! A new Japanese national record was established by 25 years old Kengo Suzuki, who ran 2:04:56. He ran the last 2.195km in 6min16sec.  A record 42 runners broke 2hours 10minutes. Yuki Kawauchi also pb in the same race, running 2:07:27 for 10th place.

Breaking 4hr47min26sec Marathon

My pb for the marathon distance is 4hr 47min 26sec set at the SCSM 2014. I need to run a consistent 6min 48.72sec per km to break this record. It’s not a fast pace but I just have no confidence in my body to break it now.

50MIN10KM

50MIN10KM is about running a distance of 10km in a time of 50 minutes by a human being. It is not a extremely fast time if you compared it to the men’s world record for the distance of 26min11sec set in 2020.  To achieve this time is equal to running 25laps of a standard 400m track, each lap in exactly 2min. Or running at a constant speed of 12km per hour.

SpaceX completed 5 Launches in 2021

SpaceX has completed 5 successful launches since the start of 2021. The first stage did not manage to land on the drone ship during the last launch. 60 Starlink satellites were deployed during the launch.

SpaceX SN9 flight Successfully Flown

SpaceX successfully test flown SN9 to an attitude of approximately 10km, although it did not land as intended, on 2 Feb 2021 US time. The flip back could be 500-800m earlier and more thrust to stabilise and abit more vent control to bring the rocket back to vertical position. There was just too much power at the point where it hit the ground, it still had too much speed.

1SKMPON

It’s been growing by the days, it will be a very advance structure in the future or even perhaps now! It’s mysterious and huge, but looks empty right now. 48deg52.6S, 123deg23.6W. It is 1km by 1km and 59.5m deep, approximate weight is 10million tons. It is located at the above coordinates, no one knows who inhabited this place. It seemed to be built of a high technology material.  Apparently anything that gets too near it will be forced to back off on its own. There is no visible machine of any kind that is protecting it, but you just do not seems to get any nearer to it, no matter how fast you try to get near to it. Those who tried, seemed to skirt around it without even realising that they have done so.  Lately, there seemed to be couple of flying objects moving above the huge structure. Could this be the start of a autonomous existence of an entity free from any organised sovereign country?

SpaceX SN9 is taking its first flight soon

SpaceX prototype SN9 is taking its first flight very soon, probably to 10-12km height. It’s a question of control over the booster, they need to really fine tune the control of the descent speed to avoid crashing to the ground.
