31.47km Run on 24 Nov 2017 Friday

Completed the longest solo run ever of 31.47 km in 3hr 29min 53sec this morning, 24 Nov 2017 Friday. The average pace was 6:40 per km, I did not experience any muscle cramp today. But, my legs were very sore today after the run, my overall fitness is less than ideal. Hopefully, I would be able to finish the SCB marathon next Sunday, 3 Dec 2017, in less than 5 hours!

28.05km Run on 15 Nov 2017 Wed

Completed a 28.05 km run this morning in 3hr9min. A slow but good run, struggled quite a bit towards the end, walked another 3km to get home. The most difficult to deal with is the scorching sun, when your body is already so tired towards the last part of a long run, it really try to entice your legs to give up. I had to really tell my body to just press on and not to give in.

Change in Educational system

The traditional way of teaching children should be changed, its too backwards and wasting too much time. Why do you need 6 years in a primary or junior school? We can definitely shorten the time taken to educate a person. Thinking should definitely be taught in school, how you think and process information is crucial to your learning. Human need to revamp the way teaching is being carry out at the moment. Young people spent too much much time on games and useless activities.

23.11km Run on 10 Nov 2017

I managed a 23.11km run in 2hr31min25sec yesterday’s morning. It was quite a struggle at the initial part of the run, the body was trying hard to warm up and the legs were heavy. It got better as I got to around 5 km or so, heaviness in the legs were gone as I enter the park connector at buangkok green. I consumed a pack of gel around 7 km and toilet break around 8km and the run become enjoyable as I trotted along the water way around Punggol water point. Had another water break around the 11 plus km, to ensure I can continue smoothly. I continued to run well on the way back out and took another water break around the 14.5km and a second pack of gel. I told myself that I need to overcome the heat from the sun usually around the last 4km back to my home. I just run at a steady pace and reached this last part of the run. I managed to cover this portion without any issue and finished the run strong. On hind sight, I could have push myself a bit harder to finish a 2-3 minuted faster.

Is the world economy a zero sum game ?

Yes, it is......but no economist see it this way! Because these people will loose their jobs. You gain at the expense of others. Just look at the stock markets, its like a casino....! The average investors should never push their luck in a bull market, you will never beat the high speed traders! Have you ever wonder why the up and down in the stock markets ? The market commentators have something to say  everyday, anything that reach the masses is already old news..... People in the trade watches for que and anticipate the turning point or they work in collusion to make a kill. How can the price of a stock move like a roller coaster?
