The Infinite World

Human can attain peace when they stop killing each other! Education curriculum can add this subject and work towards this objective. It’s difficult but it should start somewhere.

SpaceX completed its 2nd launch of 2019 on 22 Feb, launch time 1.45 am local time from SLC-40 Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. Payload consists of 3 items, 1 Indonesia private satellite, 1 micro satellite for the US Air Force and a Israeli Lunar lander called Beresheet. If successful, Israel will be become the 4th country to land a spacecraft on the moon. It’s only weighed less than 600kg including fuel and will reach the moon on its own power in 2 months time. The block 5 first stage B1048.3 was launched for a 3rd time and landed a 3rd time on a drone ship, demonstrating SpaceX recoverable space technology.

The pace that SpaceX is making progress made NASA looks redundant. Imagine SpaceX making a landing on the moon before NASA ! Embarrassing right ? Anyway, this looks to be imminent, NASA is so risk averse and full of red tape. They cannot get things done in the new economy. Advancement in space technology is no longer dominated by the government anymore in this new age. Risk taking is necessary in space exploration, you can seat at home if you are afraid to take risk. No pain, no gain, just as simple as that. It’s a harsh environment, you cannot predict what will happen, you need to get out there to experience it. Nothing beats going out there to test out all the critical systems!

Its already obselete before you build it, a few drones,  it can emerge anywhere to destroy your billion dollar platform!! The plan is flexibility, not impenetrable ability.

Space scientists can keep arguing but no one can proof that what they say is the truth. It’s a waste of time keeping going over the same topic knowing that there is no outcome. Scientists should be less ambitious and start solving less complicated issues first. Do not waste resources doing something that they cannot comprehend and start doing something useful to the advancement of the human race.

Humans are always coerced to do things that are generally incorrect, because they cannot control their actions. The logical way is never achieved by the general population because most humans cannot distinguish between right and wrong! The evil side of their mind tend to often win over their good portion of their mind. These poor people do not know what is wrong with their own mind, always fighting their evil thoughts but never seems to be winning. 

Human never learn from all that is happening around the little earth! Too much authority is a bad bad thing, when not in check! Earthlings, please wake up soon..... It’s the same everywhere, don’t let a single party rule the country or a single company dominate an industry! Don’t become a price taker, you can’t negotiate!

Completed a 5.2km run the stadium nearby, 13 laps of standard 400m track in a time of 27min51.8 sec. Average time of 2min8.6sec. I injured my legs last Apr 2018, but I did not consult any doctor, so it took a long time to heal. I think the nerve or ligament was out of place, so I tried to rest it for a month and did my own massage with deep heat cream. My running volume was cut back to almost zero km during the month of May 2018. Only got back to running late August 2018.

They delay progress by a huge magnitude, wasting time and money! You need practical experience from all the failed launches and all the difficulties encountered from near earth flights to solve more complicated issues that will surface in long duration expedition. 

The current way of getting out of earth is a wasteful exercise! Is there a easier way to leave earth ? Or are humans  just way too primitive to learn the correct way? If this correct way is not achieved, human will never be a space faring race! Human need to think out of the box, they are so boxed in by the science that they think is correct!

Do human really need a leader to live in a organised society? People in power often misused their power to benefit themselves! Human race is moving towards a big brother society, which is not good for the man in the street. Orwellian prediction coming true, bad for the world!

SpaceX launched the first mission of the year 2019 at 7.31 am local time Vandanberg AFB. The Falcon 9 with block 5 boaster B1049.2 successfully lifted 10 Iridium Next-8 satellites totalling 9600kg to LEO polar orbit. This is the final and 8th launches for Iridium over the past 2 years, deploying 75 satellites in total. The first stage made a successful 2nd landing on the drone ship OCISLU in the Pacific Ocean, the 33rd successful landing for the company out of 40. This same boaster landed the First time on 10 Sep 2018.

Humans’ action is based on how their mind are being influenced, no such thing as a “free will”! Usually, their thoughts are being bombarded with ideals from their leaders, the power hungry ones. They are being manipulated everyday by such people who want them to think that they are doing great things to benefit the masses. But, many know this is not true! Humans created most of their own suffering, by being ignorant, selfish, power hungry and the list goes on. Humans is the only living things to go to extreme to kill each other.  If humans can think logically, they can reduce their problems by many times, but the leaders of different countries do not have a similar goals, that is to live in peace. Well, it will take a long time or they might never even achieve this goal! The resources that human wasted on defences could have brought them to Mars 30 years ago, but their selfish nature just trapped them in a vicious cycle of fighting that will never end if they do not wake...

Change is rapid in our current world, but procurement programs are still sticking to the old mindset! Military programs usually take a long time to go live, anything that take 5 years to go into service is already obsolete by then. Why spent billions to build something that has already fallen behind when entering service! Anyway, human need to change their mindset, from fighting each other, to instead advancing their civilisation by getting rid of dominating mentally.

I did not finish at the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon this morning 9 Dec 2018, dropped out at about 19.3km, 2 hour 33min 11 sec into the run. It would have been my 8th consecutive SCSM, will try again next year.

SpaceX 20 flights in 2018 todate is a great achievement by any standard of measurement in human history! People forget that SpaceX is just a private corporation, even countries in the advanced economies cannot achieve what it has accomplished! It can go even further or faster if it do not have to be hampered by the regulating bodies or the government. 

SpaceX broke a number of records with its 19th launch of the year, it made 18 launches in 2017. This  is the most ever total number of satellites deployed from a single launch from the USA and this is also the first time a first stage has been launched and recovered 3 times. This is also the 100th space mission attempted in 2018, of which 97 were successful. 

Government in a democratic country is elected by the citizens of the country. Why should land belong to the government? When you buy a 99 year lease flat, you need to take a bank loan and pay down the load over a period of 20 to 30 years. At the same time, you have to pay property tax. At the end of the 99 years, it goes back to the government without compensation. If you live long enough, then you either buy a new flat or rent a flat. If you buy a old house, you pay the price in accordance to the market value of the flat, which is the remaining value of the lease. Why should the land revert back to the government? Perhaps, it’s time to convert all lease to freehold, then at least the owner can pass on the flat to their off springs. At least, what they work their life to buy, can be passed on to their children and not back to the government. Then, there is no fear that value of their flats will disappear as the lease approaches expiry. People worked their life away and give it all b...

Human beings need to recognise that people treasure their different ways, each can do things their own ways, as long as they do not impose on others. The important thing is to not take advantage of others, or harm others. 

Soyuz FG launch failure on 11 Oct 2018, demonstrated the current primitive status of human space travel technology! People are talking about leaving the ISS empty, as the return port is only valid for flight up to Jan 2019. What a joke, 60 years of space flight and human is still struggling to get a fellow astronaut to space. All money spent on rocket and spacecraft seemed lost now, human is not confident of getting to space safely.
