Eliud Kichoge is correct, no human is limited. Human is not limited and can do much more. It depends on how much you really want to achieve something! Human should always push themselves to go further and beyond the unknown territory.

SpaceX 8th launch of 2018 took place evening of 18 April 2018, 6:51 pm EST, the mission is ongoing and being webcast live as usual. The TESS satellite is own by NASA and is currently in the cruise phase to a geostationary orbit. The first stage has successfully landed on the drone ship OCISLY about 300 km off the coast of Florida, the 24th successful landing. The 53rd Falcon rocket and the 52nd Falcon 9 launch.

Yuki Kawauchi came in 1st at the Boston Marathon 2018, 16 April, in 2 hours 15minutes 58 seconds, the last Japanese man to win was in 1987, Toshihiko Seko. Amazing race for Yuki, the bad weather win it for him, as he is not afraid of the cold weather. He is really becoming a legend, his 79 sub 2:20 marathon! He breached a gap of over 90 secs and won by 2 minutes 25 seconds over Kenyan Geoffrey Kirui.

I will be running the 21.1km at the Income 350 run on 29 April 2018, at 5am. I have not run a half marathon officially since Feb 2013, but I am expecting a sub 2hr10min. Not sure if I am able to achieve this timing, as I am a little taken back as I struggled a lot during my 18.12 km run on Saturday 14 April 2018. I guess I better fuelled my body properly before the run, to ensure I have sufficient energy to complete the run. 

Started my run this morning at 7.09 am sg time, from Yio Chu Kang Road just before junction with Ang Mo Kio Ave 4.The first km was slow at 7:11 per km. I ran pass YCK Mrt station, then NYP along AMK ave 5 to buangkok green. It was a really a struggle today for me, legs was feeling heavy and I ran at a slow speed just to get in some mileage. Although I was slow today, none of the subsequent km exceed 7 min. The 2nd km was 6:42, follow by 6:50, 6:33, 6:31, reached the 5km mark in 33min36sec. I entered the Sengkang park connector around the 6km mark, from here I was able to run faster and managed to get down to around 6 min or low 6 min. But mostly hovering around 6:20 per km. My aim today was to get back to running longer distance of up to around 20km. I reached the Punggol Waterway point around 1hr 8min 56 sec, aroun 10.52km, this is where I turnaround to head back to where I started. Admit it, a manned mission to Mars is a tough one to achieved. You need a reasonably big ship to carry fuel, air, food and man himself. Once you set off, a thousand things can go wrong. A failed communication system will caused panic, as the crew will be totally cut off, imagined if you are 20 million km away from Earth. Or a failed engine, you will drift in space. I think it’s best to first practice in near Earth space to build the expertise and experience needed to survive in space. It would be a great achievement for man if we succeeded to reach Mars before 1 Jan 2030!

SpaceX has achieved 6 launches in 3 months of the year 2018, a healthy cadence. The next launch is scheduled for 2 April 2018. Can SpaceX break its record of 18 launches achieved in 2017 ? 

The so call fairings are the covering for the payload on a rocket into space. Instead of falling away from the main final stage vehicle, it could perhaps be made to open up like a shell for payload launch and close up after payload launch. It could then be separated from the single Merlin engine and fall back into the atmosphere and slow down by firing thrusters already built into the fairings before falling into the net on Mr Steven. 

Japanese amateur runner Yuki Kawauchi was awarded the Guinness world record for achieving the most sub 2hr20min marathon by anyone on Earth on 25 Mar 2018 at his home town Kuki. He has achieved 78 sub 2:20 with the latest at the 18 Mar 2018 Wan Jin Shi Taipei marathon. 

Just completed a 10.36km run in 1hr00min14sec, from yck to Bishsn Park 2 loops. My second run in my new Adidas Boston 6M(green), I must say it feels quite stable and smooth, the cushion feel sufficient for me. My 3rd pair of Boston, I still using a old 5M and another 6M. I need to hold my run at around 5:50 for up to 12km and more. I am at 269km for the year.

Start the run at about 8.21pm from junction of Yio chu kang road and AMK ave 4, I was really slow about 8min plus per km and slowly worked my way up to a 7:14 first km. Ran along YCK road and took a left to upper Thomson road to bishan park. My pace picked up from here, I ran along the park and this is the first time I went all the way to the other end of the park near the mrt depot and back. Total distance covered was 11.5km in 1hr10min7sec! Another run to clock some mileage.

Started the run at 7.26am on 3 Mar 2018, Saturday from Yio Chu Kang Road via Ang Mo Kio Ave 5 to Buangkok Green, Sengkang park connector till Punggol water terraces and back to start point. I was feeling apprehensive if I could complete a 20 km run. Started slow as usual but I was consious to not let my pace becoming too slow. I tried to keep it below 6:15 per km and surprisingly my body keep up and I was below the 6min mark most of the time. Eventually, I finished 17.58 km in 1hr42min43sec, averaging about 5:51 per km. I took a short water break and slow run 3.04 km back home in about 20min. I finally understood why a strong core will help runners, a constant steps turnover at your own strike length. A stronger core will help runners to maintain a higher step turnover.

SpaceX completed the company 4th launch of the year by dispatching the PAZ satellite for Spain’s military plus 2 micro satellites of its own and the first attempt to recover the fairings used to protect the payload on the second stage. The fairings was fitted with chutes to slow down its descent and trusted to stirred it to a special ship it deployed called Mr Steven which was equipped with 4 arms and a net to try catch the fairings. This is another step towards full reusability and could saved a couple more millions on each launch. 

Today, 6 Feb 2018 Tuesday, is a almost a perfect day for SpaceX ! The Falcon Heavy rocket made a successful maiden flight into space, with none other than Elon’s old Roadsters on a possible billion years journey around the Sun. The rocket lifted off at 20:45 UTC, with a interim configuration of 2 used side boasters and a new core rockets, with all 27 Merlin 1D engines producing 2,128 tonnes of thrust at liftoff. The 2 side boasters separated at 2min33sec, with the central core continuing for another 25sec before separating from the second stage. The second stage ignited at 3min 15sec and shut down at 8min31sec to park it in a temporary orbit. The second stage was scheduled to reignite at 28min22sec and lasting 30 sec to push it into its intended orbit. The 2 side boosters performed 3 engines boost back and re-entry burn and landed successfully at landing zone 1 and 2 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida. Woke up late this Saturday morning, about 8 am but I managed to get my run done. I completed a 17.07km run to the Seletar East Link, via Lentor Ave and Yishun Ave 1, took me 1hr47min34sec. It was a slow run and I struggled quite a bit at during the first few km, but it got better towards the later part of the run. 

If there is a meteorite strike now, human will go extinct. Human is taking it all too casually, no large accommodation or spacecraft at all that can take them to a new home. Humans’ level of space technology is just primitive, experimental stage at most. Probably maybe a handful of them will get to space if something catastrophic happen to Earth now, but they will maybe survive  for a couple of months at most. All busy fighting each other, no time to explore beyond Earth, no wonder aliens are not interested in this planet!

The static firing of all the 27 engines were completed on 24 Jan 2018, next the actual launch should take place pretty soon. 

Completed a 21.16km run in 2hr16min25sec this morning. From the 3km mark onwards, I decided not to look at my watch anymore and just run. Did not feel too good at the beginning, felt like I was dragging my legs but I tried my best to relax and just keep running. Although I was not running fast, I managed to just keep running. My running has not been going in the right direction, not improving much at all. I need to be more desciplined, sleep more and eat the right food will help. 

Covered 11.13km in 1hr5min37sec on 14 Jan 2018. Felt ok but seemed like I could not run much faster, I attribute it to the fact that I am a little overweight. Need to work to maintain a optimum weight to improve running efficiency. 5th run of the year.

It can wipe us out if it gets out of hand falling into the Dark side ! It will exceed us in all aspects!
