Who is in control in You ?

Do you really think your destiny is in your own hand?

21.31km Run on 25 Dec 2017

I did not have much of a problem getting up at 6:10am on 25 Dec 2017 for a run after a day of excessive food and drinks. But, as I began my run at 7.07am, I found my legs were heavy and my body was protesting, wanting more rest probably. I was afraid I might gave up as my mind was telling me to quit only after covering about 1km. I did not give up and just continue with a very slow run. I reached the 1km mark in about 7min11sec. As I ran further, the nagging felling remain in the legs but I try to think distract my mind, observing the surrounding environment. Soon I got to the 5km mark in 33min16sec, not too slow. Around the 5.5km, I entered the road leading to the usual park connector I run frequently. There are many other people walking or running, so it was much easier to run as there was company. I pace picked up from here and I could feel my body settling down to a good rhythm. I was now running a low 6min pace and heaviness in the legs almost gone. Reached the 10 km mark aro...

SpaceX 18th Launch of 2017

SpaceX carried out its 18th Launch of 2017, on 22 Dec from the Vandenberg Air Force base. It deployed 10 Iridium satellites on this 4th of a series of 8th flight booked by the Iridium company. It has been a record breaking year for SpaceX in 2017 in terms of total launches, landing of the first stage and re-use of first stage and Dragon Spacecraft. The next important milestone will be the Launch of Falcon Heavy, hopefully in early or mid January 2018, with an original Tesla Roadster as a test payload. It would be a sight to behold if they manage to land all 3 first stage successfully!

SpaceX 17th Launch of 2017

SpaceX successfully completed its 17th mission of 2017 on 15th Dec 2017 with CRS13. It launched with a reuse first stage and a reuse Dragon spacecraft, plus achieving the 20th first stage landing. The Dragon spacecraft has docked with the ISS a couple hours ago and pending unloading by the ISS crew.

Bitcoin ? Destroyer of value

The recent price run on Bitcoin is pure speculation, there is just no value at all in such a currency if you  want to call it so. It cannot be used for your daily transactions, the value fluctuate too much. It is just gambling, it destroyed value!

Singapore Marathon 2017

The Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon took place this morning, 3 Dec 2017, Sunday. The race started at 4.30am, but as usual there were a few waves of runners. I was in the C pen and started the race at 4:40:21. They changed the route a little and runners do not need to run through the Ford Canning Tunnel. But, the weather was extremely humid and you can really feel the stillness and warm in the air. The new route took runners to Bugis and Golden Sultan area and the usual South Beach Road but included Chinatown this year. One unfortunate thing that happened to me was my Garmin watch was acting funny around the 9-10km and the pacing plus distance was way off. I was not expecting any PB but was hoping to do a sub 5 hours. Training was insufficient, my mileage was too low, total around 740km for the year to Nov 2017. The first 5km was reached in 31:40, always trying to take it easy and not to be carried away thinking that it’s fine to run faster. Most people know their own pace ...

31.47km Run on 24 Nov 2017 Friday

Completed the longest solo run ever of 31.47 km in 3hr 29min 53sec this morning, 24 Nov 2017 Friday. The average pace was 6:40 per km, I did not experience any muscle cramp today. But, my legs were very sore today after the run, my overall fitness is less than ideal. Hopefully, I would be able to finish the SCB marathon next Sunday, 3 Dec 2017, in less than 5 hours!

28.05km Run on 15 Nov 2017 Wed

Completed a 28.05 km run this morning in 3hr9min. A slow but good run, struggled quite a bit towards the end, walked another 3km to get home. The most difficult to deal with is the scorching sun, when your body is already so tired towards the last part of a long run, it really try to entice your legs to give up. I had to really tell my body to just press on and not to give in.

Change in Educational system

The traditional way of teaching children should be changed, its too backwards and wasting too much time. Why do you need 6 years in a primary or junior school? We can definitely shorten the time taken to educate a person. Thinking should definitely be taught in school, how you think and process information is crucial to your learning. Human need to revamp the way teaching is being carry out at the moment. Young people spent too much much time on games and useless activities.

SpaceX Launch 15 Nov 2017

SpaceX is launching on 15 Nov 2017, the 17th mission of the year.

Yuki Kawauchi 60th Sub 2:16

Yuki Kawauchi logged his 60th sub 2:16 marathon at the Saitama International Marathon on 12 Nov 2017 in 2hr15min54sec. This is also his 74th sub 2:20, he will equal the world record with 2 more sub 2:20 marathon.

23.11km Run on 10 Nov 2017

I managed a 23.11km run in 2hr31min25sec yesterday’s morning. It was quite a struggle at the initial part of the run, the body was trying hard to warm up and the legs were heavy. It got better as I got to around 5 km or so, heaviness in the legs were gone as I enter the park connector at buangkok green. I consumed a pack of gel around 7 km and toilet break around 8km and the run become enjoyable as I trotted along the water way around Punggol water point. Had another water break around the 11 plus km, to ensure I can continue smoothly. I continued to run well on the way back out and took another water break around the 14.5km and a second pack of gel. I told myself that I need to overcome the heat from the sun usually around the last 4km back to my home. I just run at a steady pace and reached this last part of the run. I managed to cover this portion without any issue and finished the run strong. On hind sight, I could have push myself a bit harder to finish a 2-3 minuted faster. ...

Is the world economy a zero sum game ?

Yes, it is......but no economist see it this way! Because these people will loose their jobs. You gain at the expense of others. Just look at the stock markets, its like a casino....! The average investors should never push their luck in a bull market, you will never beat the high speed traders! Have you ever wonder why the up and down in the stock markets ? The market commentators have something to say  everyday, anything that reach the masses is already old news..... People in the trade watches for que and anticipate the turning point or they work in collusion to make a kill. How can the price of a stock move like a roller coaster?

Recap of Newton Run 2017

I was not well prepared for this run and I am using this run as a tune up to the Standard Chartered Marathon in a months time. It is difficult to run 32km when you are running alone, even running in such a crowd was difficult but you have more company. Woke up at 2.15 am after 2.5 hours of sleep, but was relatively fresh. Had a quick breakfast of bread and coffee. Packed my bag and 2 energy gel and a musli bar. Took  taxi and reached the start point at 3.50am. Had to walk about 400m to the start point on the other end of the bridge at Marina Barrage. It was not as crowded as I thought like the previous year, but still had to wait about 20 minuets for the flagoff. The race started promptly at 4.30am. As usual, the early stages of such mass run are always slow and people just trying to get away from the crowd. I ran without much purpose, just looking around and maybe spot a few people who are around my pace to tag along later in the race. We exited the Marina garden east around ...

SpaceX 16th Mission of 2017

SpaceX completed its 16th mission of the year and made history with the most launches in a year. It also bagged another first stage landing on Of Course I Still Love You in the Atlantic Ocean 350 nautical miles down range, making a total of 19 successful landings. The payload was a Korean satellite which was delayed. Probably another 2 or 3 more mission for the rest of the year.

32.195 km Newton Run Singapore

Completed 32.48km in 3hr34min45sec this morning 29 Oct 2017 Sunday. Did the same run last year in 3hr48min. Although my race time is slow, I did not encounter any muscle cramps. I tried my best not to walk and run as much as possible. My overall fitness level has improved over the last year.

Bitcoin, Block Chain, Dangerous?

Everyone should be wary of this clear danger to our medium of exchange and recognised store of value.

Yoshiki Kawauchi 100km

Yoshiki Kawauchi, younger brother of Yuki Kawauchi, won the Shimantogawa 100 km  ultra marathon on 15 October 2017, in 6:42:01. He finished 21st in the last edition.

6.54 km run 7 Oct 2017

Its been a long time since I ran in the gym, completed 6.54 km in 40min as it was running. At least some workout to up some momentum for my running!

10.5km run 14 Oct 2017 Sat

Started my run late at 8.10am, was not really in the mood for a run, but just ran anyway. Slow run with no target set, just ran onto any street I felt like heading. Completed 10.5km in about 1 hour 8min, at least I clocked some mileage.

SpaceX 15th launch 2017

Space Exploration Techologies completed its 15th launch of 2017 on 11 Oct 2017 and it's 18th landing of its 1st stage on the drone ship "Of Course I Still Love You". This is also the 3rd time a reused 1st stage is flown for a 2nd time, they are working to cut launch cost once recovery of the 1st stage becomes routine.

SpaceX 14th Launch of 2017

SpaceX successfully launched a Falcon 9 rocket carrying 10 Iridium satellites into space and also landed the 17th Stage 1 at sea on the remote robot ship about an hour ago today, 9 Oct 2017 Monday. The mission is currently on going with the upcoming deployment of the 10 satellites.

SpaceX 7 Oct 2017 launch Delayed

Launch delayed due to weather condition, will be on 9 Oct 2017!

20.3km run on 6 Oct 2017

Started today's run at 6.48 am, at the beginning it was slow as I was trying to get the legs warm up. 1st 3km averaging around 6.35 per km, I tried to maintain a slow and steady pace as my target is to cover at least 20km. I was actually running faster till about 13km because I was running through a park, but as I exited the park, the heat from the sun was getting to me. Slowed down to 6.20 plus per km and eventually had to stop to go for a water break of 4min. Covered 17.54km in 1hr51min. When I resumed, I had no strength to maintain my previous form. I struggled through the last 2.76km home.  Covered the first km in 9min, the next km in 8min23sec and the last 0.76km in 5min34sec. I told myself no matter how slow I run, I must run all the way back home. I think my mind keep telling me to stop and rest, the reason why I had the water break.

19.01 km run on 30 Sep 2017

Completed my longest run of 19.01 km for the year 2017 on 30 Sep 2017, Saturday. I covered the distance in 2hr 1min 7sec, averaging 6:22 per km. The 1st 12-13km was fine, but the later part of run was not good at all. I had to keep telling my not to walk no matter how tired I was, no pain no gain, just had to bear with it. I have a 32.195km run coming up on 29 Oct 2017, so I have to log some mileage to ensure I can comfortably complete the run. I need to be mentally tougher, the mind always trick us to believe that we cannot make it to the end. I need to keep reminding my conscious self to not be influenced by the voice in head.

SpaceX Mars Plan

At the recent world astronautical forum in Australia, Elon Musk shared his updated plan for the company's Mars mission. The overall Launch vehicle is scaled back a little to 106m from About 130m, the first stage from 42 Raptor engines to 31 and the main vehicle from 9 engines to 6. The tooling has been ordered and the construction of the 'BFR' would start in 6 to 9 months, the first launch to Mars in 2022 and the crew mission in 2024. There would be a also a plan using the BFR to travel from place to place within Earth in mostly less than 30min trip. Exciting plan ahead for SpaceX,but bad news for commercial launch companies in the industry.

SpaceX next Launch

SpaceX is scheduled to launch the next missions on 7 Oct and 9 Oct 2017 !

Berlin Marathon 2017

Eliud Kipchoge won in 2hr3min32sec!

Men's Marathon sub 2:20

Yuki Kawauchi has achieved his career 70th sub 2:20 at the Oslo Marathon on 16 Sep 2017.

Herd Mentality - Double edge sword

Herd mentality is closely linked to community living, conformity is a requisite to a orderly society. But, when people in power use such knowledge in an evil ways, it creates havoc in the society. It's happening in our everyday life, but it's a necessary tool to help those who are not so intellectually capable to keep them in line with society norm.

Human need to come to term with their greed !

All the human problems arises due to their greedy and selfish self, but all those in power do not admit to this basic problem. So the problem persist.

SpaceX 14th Launch of 2017

The 14th launch of 2017 is set to be on 2 Oct.

SpaceX 13th launch of 2017

SpaceX will be launching its 13th mission on 7 Sep 2017, this will be a USAF X-37B launch. This is a 29 feet long mini shuttle, what it does in space is a question mark due to it being classified.

New Patrol Vessel

The new patrol vessel is 101.85 metres long and displace 3950 ton with full weapon load. The hull was built with a special composite material that can withstand direct hit by high velocity cannon of up to 76mm. It is highly automted and only need a crew of about 45men and can travel up to 10,000 nauticals mile at average speed of 25 knots. The main armament is two 76mm super rapid cannon, two 25mm twin barrel cannon and two mini rotary cannon. For anti-air offensive weapon, it carries a total of 60 mach 4 AM4 missile with a range of up to 150km, anti-ships weapons consists of 12 AS1 mach 2 missiles with a range of 150 km and 12 AS2 missiles with range of 75km. For anti-submarine role, it carries 12 ASU5 adaptable torpedo, and 12 advance remote mines. A total 15 such vessels are in active service as of Aug 2017. The ship can accomodate 2 min helicopters for patrol, rescue and atack missions with full hanger facility.

10.54km run on 26 Aug 2017

Started the run quite late at about 7.48am, the target is to complete at least 10km. I told myself to just relax and start slowly. The 1st km was slow as the body was slowly warming up and I can feel better around 1.5 km or so. By around 3 km, I felt much better and was starting to feel relax as well as getting into the run. Very soon, I came to my turning point around 5km, time to head home. The second half was easier now, but I kept thinking of just completing a 2 digit distance as the goal. I stopped just a little after 10km. Clocked 10.54 km in about 1 hour 6min.

SpaceX 12th Launch of 2017 Completed

SpaceX made history by completing its 12th launch of the year 2017, the most ever by the company in a calendar year. It is also the leaders in the most launches this year and also a historical 15th successful landing of a first stage rocket. The payload this time was a Taiwanese satellite.

SpaceX 12th launch 24 Aug 2017

Submarine Launch Anti Aircraft Missile

Is there such a need ? If a submarine need to actually almost come up to near surface to launch a missile, it's a very dangerous situation for it. A better solution is for the missile to be housed in a canister propel to the surface by its own power and upon breaking the surface, ignite the rocket engine. The missile can be tracked and guided by gps from a friendly satellite. With the emergence of drones, submarines will be armed with a couple of missiles/cannon capable drones soon.

Hindrance to human advancement

Human nature is one big hindrance to their advancement as a living being. Their natural physiological needs hinder their progress by making them spending majority of their time doing meaningless things. Their greediness make them spending so much time guiding against each other and killing each other. The one big problem is the evil in their mind, the good side of the mind is always loosing the fight to remain good. Greed will led to quest for power and control!

Aircraft carriers are sitting target

Aircraft carriers are important for power projection, but with the advancement of missiles and drones, they are easy targets due to their size. They will need more defensive guns and missiles or electronic shield to ward off such attacks. Swarms of drones could easily post a great danger to these carriers. We are now in an era where size do not really matter that much anymore! Sea drones will post another problem!

How will the North Korea Crisis End?

Is there a need for a war to end it? Whichever country that is supporting it should let go! Do you think North Korea actually developed all the rocket technology on its own effort? No, they got it from another country obviously, but no one wants to point the finger at the culprit. This country is using North Korea to threaten other countries, which is indeed a cowardly motive.

SpaceX 11th launch 14 Aug 2017

SpaceX will be launching its 11th mission of 2017 on 14 Aug 2017. This will be history in the making for the company and the private space industry. This is a great archivement for a private company, this is a big deal if you try to figure out how many sovereign country can match up!!

Human Self Inflicted Misery

Why so many people live in misery in this human world? The answer is mostly self inflicted ! Too many people caused misery, too many mouth to feed. Why so many people? No birth control, no awareness among the population of this issue in the poorest countries. How come hungry people still have the time to think about procreation! Human mind is weak and there are many who sought spiritual teaching but are often misled by people who used such channel for their own agenda.

Is the Singapore Economic model workable ?

Singapore model depends very much on low wage foreign workers taking on jobs in construction, domestic household helpers, cleaners, retail workers and even nurses. It also to a certain extent, taking on foreign workers in the IT and banking sector. There are many jobs taken up by such foreigners, but Singaporeans are also not good enough to take on higher level jobs. I think people need to realise that no matter how smart or advance the country is,  the population distribution is fixed. It's very hard to move people from the lower level to even the middle level, so lower level jobs lost to foreigners will mean they will be out of jobs due to mismatch of skills when they try to move to a higher level. The lower level jobs will always be there, so meaning that these jobs will one day be forever be done by foreigners. The country will need such workers but it bring about other issues.

How to screen doping in sports?

Once caught, ban forever. Have a common drink, just plain water! It's too customised for the elite, if they can come down to a common basic energy intake, you would have a level competitive environment. But, no one will do it.

Controlling your own mind

A person success in life has got a lot to do with how well this person is able to control the mind! This is actually a difficult task for any human beings, as there are many factors that will change decisions made. It's extremely difficult to stick to what you set out to do and do it right. Of course it has to do with how you were brought up and the kind of education you received. But, all these can become a non factor at any moment as well. The person has got to not let the bad side of the mind influence the decision. The devil in your mind will lead you to a bad outcome. Tame the bad side of the mind well, in order to succeed.

Hor Fun in Ipoh

Hor Fun is a Cantonese term for a flat rice noodle, commonly used by Chinese in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore for this common noodle dish in their countries. I favour the one in Ipoh most as I find it the most delicious to my taste bud. It's usually cooked in a gravy with pork slice, egg and vegetable. Anyone who like this dish should definitely try it in Ipoh, the second largest city in the Malaysia. Its abit 500km from Singapore.

Expanding human habitation in space

Hopefully, with what Musk is doing in space, there can be more human activities in the near future. Human walked on the moon 48 years ago but there has been no attempt to visit moon since then. SpaceX has been around only since 2002, but what it has achieved is amazing. Human can do with a few more such organisations to be a truly space faring species. Launch more modular stations and get more people to populate them, human need to gain more exposure to space habitation.

SpaceX plan 22 launches for 2017

SpaceX plan to do 22 launches for 2017, they have completed 10 as at 4 July 2017. From now on till the last launch for the year, every launch will be making history for the company! It is leading the way for future space exploration, think about it how many country can do what Musk is doing.

Visiting UK for the First Time

Arrived in the United Kingdom for the very first time at 4.12 pm on the 1st of July 2017, Saturday. UK was the Colonial Government of Singapore from 1819 to 1959, so it has a great influence on my home country in many aspects of a country. Although in term of physical land area, U.K. is not that huge, but travelling from the airport to Abington, you can see large expanse of open ground. This in itself give you a feeling that U K is not that small after all. The next day, we travelled to a few villages around Abington, and see for ourselves the magnificent old buildings that dotted these places. On the 3rd day, we went to Oxfords, again we were treated to the well preserve university buildings around the city. Now we know why the UK used to be a great power in the past. The UK is still a great country today, but not in a military way anymore.

SpaceX 10th mission of 2017

SpaceX will be launching its 10th mission of 2017 in about an hour or so. This will be a record for the company and seems like this American company will be making history with every mission launch. It's a great achievement for a private company with 5000 plus employee and for the American space industry.

SpaceX 9th Launch of 2017

SpaceX made history for the company by successfully completing its 9th launch of 2017, the most ever achieved in a single year. It deployed 10 Iridium Satellites into low earth orbit, the 2nd launch of a planned total of 8th launches. This is also the shortest time between 2 SpaceX launches and it set the pace for a quick turnaround for the company. If everything goes according to plan, there could be up to 18 launches by the end of the year. By the way, this is also the 13th successful stage 1 landings and 8th successful landings on a drone ship.

Spacex 8th launch of 2017

SpaceX just completed the 8th launch of 2017, sending Bulgariasat 1 communication satellite to a geostationery orbit. This equalled its most launches in 1 year, so the next mission will be a record breaking 9 launches in a year for the company. The next launch is scheduled for Sunday 25 June 2017.

10km run on 22 Jun 2017

Completed a 10km run at the nearby stadium, 25 laps of 400m in 56min 23sec. It was a slow run but I find it difficult to complete as my fitness is not good at all at the moment. My mind kept telling me how bad I feel and I had the urge to stop running. I was having a hard time trying to fight the against the urge to stop even before I reach 4 km, but eventually I managed to hold on till the end of the 25 laps. New lesson learnt, just focused on finishing to reach the target you set at the on set and try your best to dispel the negative thoughts and blocked out other distractions as well. Your body is able to tolerate the physical beating as long as its not rediculously difficult target. 10 -20 km should not be a problem if you run regularly.

Restraining the mind

When someone is angry and out of control, you would try to restrain them from hunting others or themselves. Actually, it's the mind that is out of control, the evil force has taken control and devil wants to create havoc. It's never getting any easier to control your mind, the devil is always there in your everyday life, trying hard to influence you to do something bad. There is no such thing as free will, you are not really free to do things you want to do, I mean good things. The devil is always there waiting for you and trying it's best to coerce you to do bad things. It's hard to stay good, just look at the chaotic earth!!

We need to find who is controlling human !!

Can they find the mastermind who is creating all the havoc for the human race ? Yes it's your mind actually, they need to learn to tame it, otherwise there will be no peace! They need to have a strong will to fight the devil in their mind, it will be a constant fight, no letting up at all time.

Fighting the Evil in the mind

The evil side of the human mind is so powerful that it caused so much suffering for the human world since ancient history. When the evil side of the mind take control, anything can happen! Wars were and still is a evil doing of the mind. Faith is supposed to guide people in the right direction but history  has proven that such followers abused it for their own agenda.

Who is controlling the Human?

I always think that it is not possible that one or a small group of supreme beings are controlling the human race. Then who is or are doing this job and they are not very good at it ! So much chaos all around because people are so self centred and are full of agendas behind their actions. It is getting worse and there seems to be no solution.

Stopping the brain learning bad knowledge

Educating the brain!! Start from the schools by getting children to start thinking the right way.

Drone Carrier

Large carrier are so huge and it is complicated to build, why not drone carriers? Drones can withstand g forces better than a human pilot, the breaking point will be dependent on the materials used to make them. It will be hard to fight against drones and it will be everywhere in all military all over the world. Human pilots take to long to train and too vulnerable due to weak physical makeup. This is the way to go in the foreseeable future.

State of Mind

Are you happy with life as it is ? Well, next time when you are down, just remember that it's all in your mind ! You can control your mind, but often than not, many of us are not conscious of our state of mind ! It determine how you want to be and what to be and when you want to be in your desired state. The mind is unique, it is not a physical asset like the brain, it is like a invisible force or spirit.

Using Energy from a Jet engine

Every time a jet like a A380 or a B777 flies, a great amount of energy is released for hours during such flights. Can we harness such energy to power the flight itself ? We are just mixing the fuel and air and creating a reaction to push the plane forward. If the trust from such a jet can be feed into another machine which also pushes the plane forward at the same time, it will probably enable the plane to fly faster and consuming less fuel. Imagine the amount of energy expanded with the number of planes flying all around the world. Human are just burning fuel which can never be recovered!

Apollo 27

If NASA had flown up to Apollo 27 till 1976, we could be already on Mars by now! The money spent on Cold War could have been well spent on exploring the unknown, but they were spent on fighting a psychological war !

If CF-105 had gone into Production

Imagine what would the Canadian aviation industry be like if the CF-105 Arrow has gone into production in the late 50s ? Why was it cancelled ? What if 100 of them were built for the RCAF ?

Why spend so much on military?

Why do countries spend so much on their military? Just 1 simple reason - to guard against the evil mind of others ! Invasion is due to the mind turning evil, people want to control others, to void others doing the same to them. It's such a pathetic ideology, but human do not have a choice. The mind all work individually and are not cooperative at all. It's something that no human can do to stop themselves and others from becoming bad. The mind can be just illogical and will go crazy anytime. The mind is powerful and weak at the same time, changes all the time.

Singapore ordered 2 more Type 218

Singapore ordered 2 more Type 218 submarine from Germany, taking the total for the Type to 4. The very first one will be delivered in 2020, replacing all the older Swed built submarine one by one. Hopefully, they will have some land attack capability eventually. The next announcement would probably be for a bigger LPD or LPH with a a full deck.

Space X next launch 15 May 2017

Space X next launch is scheduled for Monday, 15 May 2017. Keeping up the momentum is important for the company now and for the industry. It's a technology that human have yet to master, it has to reach a stage similar to taking a casual car ride. Ya, maybe a bit far fetch with our currently technology level. Human need to venture out of this crystal ball, the universe is out there for a purpose.

Breaking2

It was very close to sub 2 for Eliud Kipchoge, closer than most people could imagine! It is a difficult run, the speed that he ran for 2 hour 25 second is crazy! He is indeed King of the marathon and will be for awhile, do not think that anyone can come close at the moment. But it would be quite awhile before anyone can do it in a real marathon race, beating the 2 hour mark.   Maybe another 3-5 years, this is good guess ?

Marathon mens sub X record

Despite being a amateur runner, Yuki Kawauchi has made remarkable achievements. He just tied the world record for the most sub 2:12 on 7 May 2017, Sunday at the Prague marathon. He also holds all the world records for all categories from sub 2:13 to sub 2:19. You can read this interesting article at Japanrunningnews.blogspot.

Good long distance running is not easy!

Running seems to be second nature to anyone, as long as both your feets are above ground at any one time, you are running! But, to run well, long and fast is extremely difficult. You need to really treat your body well to actually attain a certain level of competency in running. This is why to be certified a gold standard runner takes a lot of discipline and determination, plus some level of natural talent. Maintaining the mileage is critical, watching what you eat is critical and resting well is critical as well. A normal person will not be able to achieve the gold standard of sub 2:10 in a marathon ever in their life time. A serious runner will be more likely to aim for a sub 3 hours which will be a dream come true for 99 percent of all runners!

Runners need to watch their body weight

It is extremely important for runners to watch how much they weigh, imagined if you are overweight by 5kg, it's like you run carrying a 5kg backpack! Your legs will be stressed, they are built to carry only a certain body weight. So remember to cut back when you are hurting more from a sore legs.

A Divided World

There are so many reports of people getting killed by bombs or attacks everyday, why so ? Because the world is divided, different people having a agenda of their own, not happy with their own circumstances! Agenda is fine, but many are misled by their own kind.

Changing the way human think

All human typically are the same, emotional, selfish, always hungry and are not able to stand extreme weather. They are programmed to response to the physical needs of the human body, every other things are irrelevant when these needs are not fulfilled! Human need to transcend these demands to really take controls. It is easy to say but difficult to actually carry out in reality. Therefore, changing the way human thinks is crucial to the survival of their kind.

19.7 km Run on 18 Mar 2017 Sat

Started my run at 7.15 am on 18 Mar 2017, Saturday. Wanted to run 20km at a the minimum, but was apprehensive due to my poor fitness level. I tried to run easy without looking too much at the time, just putting one foot in front of the other. I got to 10km quite easily in about 1 hour 3 minutes, then turn around to return home. The heat from the blazing sun could now be felt, I just try my best to keep going. At 16.01 km, I stopped at a water point at a park I passed, to have a quick drink and rest for about 5 minutes. I took a slow run back home for a distance of 3.69km in about 25 minutes. Total distance 19.7 km in 2 hours 8 minutes. Slow run to keep my fitness level intact, at least there was no muscle cramp.

Read this interesting Blog

You are welcome to visit this blog to get interesting things and ideas. I will share whatever I know or think about. Everyone is curious about things around us and things they do not know! The world out there is unlimited, it's our mind that put a limit on whatever exist because it cannot comprehend that the world is unlimited! Something else is out there beyond whatever or wherever you can reach!

Multiple Universes

Not many people want to believe that there are multiple universes out there, probably because one single universe is already hard to comprehend for most people. Anything is possible, humans know too little and yet think that they know a lot! Humans are visual creatures, beliving in what they see. But, it's difficult for humans to progress much further, they are self-centred and have personal agenda in the things they do. Humans will destroyed themselves one day.

Human are illogical

Humans are not logical in their thinking, they are easily influenced by bad ideas and their own craving for the bad deeds. Their brain tend to turn towards bad ideas when they are not strong mentally. They need to learn to control their thinking, history has many example of human mind going bizarre creating great havoc. Human problems are mostly self inflicted, because human mind is in general selfish and never think ahead logically.

Astronomy is a Pipe Dream

Seems like earthlings view of the universe are all assumptions, it's all theoretical, as they will never get there or ever see those planets! They are talking like they are experts but actually they assumed it to be a reality based on their calculations. It's rediculous but people still believe it!! People do not know much about our moon and maybe Mars, but they think they know about faraway places millions and billions of light years away!

17.1 km Run on 4 Mar 2017

Managed to run the longest distance of 17.1 km on the morning of 4th March 2017, Saturday. It was a slow run, it took me about 1 hour and 43 minutes. I was trying to cover as much ground as possible, so I did not think too much, just moving constantly. Although the body did not feel great, it did not protest too much either. I just keep reminding my brain that there is no shortcut to running, you just have to clock sufficient mileage if you want to run better. The body will be stronger after awhile with all the mileage that you put in.

Trying catch up on my running

My longest run this year 2017 is 16.7km in about 1 hour 43 min. Lately, I have been struggling to run longer distance, find it so difficult to clock the distance. I have to find a way to run up to 4 times per week, currently I run only on weekends. I need to learn how to enjoy long runs, maybe I need to look at my gps watch less often and learn to run easy!

Human Becoming A Single Community

The best way forward for the human race is to come together as one community, it will benefit all. But, it is difficult to forgo selfish human motives! Get rid of the evil side of human and help one another is the right way for the future. Easy to say it out but extremely difficult to carry out. The evil forces are just too strong!

To Run Faster in 2017

So far only completed 5 runs up to today 23 Jan 2017 Monday, 10:29pm. I want to run faster this year, I want to run faster than 50 minutes for the 10km, 1 hour 53min for the half marathon and 4hour30min for the marathon. I need to average at least 100 km every month at the minimum, but hopefully I can achieve 130 km per month. I also need to build up my core muscles by doing more push up, sit-up and planks. I need to join a few runs as well to keep myself motivated to run faster.

2nd Run of the year 2017

Just completed my second run of the year, 10.12km in 1 hour 2 min and 35 sec according to my garmin 620 watch. It was a slow run as usual, I was trying to cover as much distance as possible. I was feeling sluggish, so tried my best to relax and run easy.
